Infographic – iPhone vs Android vs Blackberry 35

Smartphones are the most wannabe gifts and super cool gadgets offering more advanced computing ability and connectivity than a contemporary basic feature phone. The blackberry was the 1st brand to take smartphone ahead in its business league while the iPhone from Apple bought hell lot of apps that could run almost any productive service in the complete operating system software providing a platform for application developers . And now android – being Google backed OS , the latest addiction among smartphone users . Here is an infographic that depicts the style and attitude of the smartphone users of how them see themselves and people using smartphones of another brand 🙂

Android :

The Google Android mobile operating system is currently on a rise and here is why it might be the number one smartphone OS :

  • Google backs Android, a major pipeline for its cloud services and the reason Android is improving rapidly .
  • Android is open source , making it easier to quickly gain developers’ support.
  • Now samsung models support Android platform which only htc used to support and possibility that more and more manufacturers will support android .

Blackberry :

The BlackBerry started out as a business device and is the most common phone believed to be “only for businessmen” but now everyone can afford it . And it appeals to a broader consumer audience . Its coolest features being best email platform,  remote monitoring and security and  fantastic battery life . With more new handsets and features it can be more powerful than ever .

The  iPhone :

The iPhone is the in-thing and hasn’t stopped IT pros from flocking to it. Also being consumer-focused device with largest number of applications than android + blackberry combined ! The iPhone is a hot selling phone , the iOS [Apple’s OS ] is easy to navigate, consumer friendly, and simplistic . The latest iPhone 4  gives you the capability of multi tasking which is more cooler than other two smartphones . Certainly improving on a vast scale to rock the world of  smartphones .

Too bad , the infographic does not covers palm OS which is almost as dead as dodo 😀

Which will you choose?

I love my iPhone but my mom swears by her Blackberry. She has had it since it first came out (being a buisiness owner herself). I love that I can have all the apps and music. Oh and your little cartoon is hilarious. I’m not one for popularity, I just want a phone that fits my priorities.

I wasn’t aware that Blackberry use is growing. I thought that the Android/iPhone far outstripped it in popularity.

In my opinion android is growing well and most of the high range smart phones made by ‘Android’ platform and the popularity of ‘symbian’ is slightly declined by’android’ these days…

That is a pretty funny infographic. I’ve never cared for Blackberry but the iOS and Android phones are very nice. I don’t think Blackberry is going to go away for a long time but I think iOS and Android are going to convert a lot of Blackberry users to their phones because of the amount of success of these two mobile operating systems and the amount of mobile software development that has occurred in the last few years for iOS and Android.

BlackBerry’s use is really on the rise here in Egypt. Specially cause of the BlackBerry messenger, with all mobile carriers here in Egypt offering very cheap subscription plans to it!
It’s become the new addiction to all teens here!

Smartphones give you the technological edge since it’s backed up by Android OS, which is Open Source. What does that mean? There are so many applications out there that can be loaded to your Smartphone. I admit, iPhone is pretty but to optimize it, you need to spend more to have the applications you want (at least, majority of it).

Sincerely I would choose the iPhone because I used it and I seen how great it is. The iPhone 4 is also multi-tasking like you said, and that makes it even more cooler than the other two, just like you said. Also, the iPhone in my opinion has a bigger community than the other two, the iPhone is much… cool I guess.

    Best regards,

    Maria

I never used BlackBerry before, so there’s no experience about that one for review. I liked iOS more than Android because the design very smooth, however Android have many apps that can help you done everything with your phone.

The competition amongst smartphones today has never been healthier. The rate of new technology being incorporated in these phones have never been this fast. This is a great time for all of us because we are the ones who benefit from these innovations, obviously. We’re so fortunate.

  33. Reply Doris Dec 5,2011 11:38 am

Well, I vote to Apple. With more carriers and more devices released, Apple will beat Android. And with iOS 5 equipped, a better iPhone can draw more attention. The last reason is that rumors flies that Apple will release a low-end iPhone lite. If so, the sales will boom for sure.

Nice one. And i belongs to Android category. The best one.
