The new Personalized Google Toolbar 10

Google Toolbar was one of the essential downloads in the Google Pack and it was a must for Google + Firefox FAN .  😀 And its progress was kept to a halt since we got the Google Chrome having more or less like features of Google Toolbar but now its more Personalized than ever and now the Google Toolbar 7 is available for all Internet Explorer and Firefox users.

What’s new ?:

The updated toolbar brings the most powerful and awesome elements of Chrome to the world of these browsers . Chrome which is the most switched to browser is popular for its powerful features including auto-translate , built-in Instant Search now brings this functionality to theses platforms. If you still show respect to IE or Firefox than Google Toolbar 7 is a very useful piece of tool to have. When you download the new Google Toolbar your toolbar will display buttons for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, YouTube, Google News, Google Reader and Google Tasks by default .

The Instantness :

You can save a lot of time as you were by using Instant on Chrome, here you can use Toolbar Instant. Just start typing in the search box and search predictions and results will appear instantly as you type, getting you the results you want faster . Buts its only supported for IE8+ users . [Again IE7 users would be seeing the Upgrade warning :P]

Awesomeness :

What i liked about this toolbar is that as you discover and use particular tools that help your browsing experience, like Share or Translate, they’ll automatically appear on the toolbar, making your most relevant tools easy to access 🙂 . This personalization is stored only on your computer, so no information is sent to Google unless your usage statistics are enabled. Thus there is nothing that can stop you to grab this tool . It also sports PageRank and spell check so as to get the information about anything without checking for other place . However this is only for IE and Firefox users , and not Chrome users !

And yes , whenever Googled releases anything , they already update their next version 😉  . Same case with the Google Toolbar 8

“Google Toolbar 8 is actually built and runs on top of the Google Chrome Frame platform. This means that Toolbar 8 will run more like a web app in that it can be customized and updated much more frequently and easily. It also means that Google Chrome Frame is installed at the time of Toolbar 8 installation”

It’s currently available in English, other supported languages will be added soon. Lets hope there also come a supported toolbar version for opera and rockmelt .

Thanks for the valuable information. Your blog has something new to offer everytime I visit it. Great work.

P.S.: Can you change your font style(avoid bold). That could really enrich your blog’s look. Just a suggestion. 🙂

Google Toolbar rocks! What I like with the latest version of Google Toolbar is that it makes it possible for users to create, categorize and manage the bookmarks of their sites with just a single click.

I am 100% Google user. From its browser, search engine, email, msgr and even their office tool. Well, I find it much easy for me to do my online activities if I only stick in one provider so I will be very happy to try this one.

Chrome has been my default browser for years. I always find it faster and more convenient. I haven’t tried its new personalized toolbar but based on this post, I think I have to check it out and discover its wonders (like you said- instantness and awesomeness!) Thanks for sharing this info Ajinkya!
